Work begins on new Dublin railway station, Pelletstown

Transport for Ireland have announced that work has now commenced on a new station, Pelletstown.

The newest station on the Irish Rail network will be situated between Ashtown and Broombridge stations, and will serve the existing community of Ashington as well as the new community at Royal Canal Park. A journey time of just 12mins to the city centre is envisaged.
