Travel information for Notre Dame vs Navy game at Aviva Stadium on 26th August 2023

The Aer Lingus college football game between Notre Dame and Navy takes place in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on 26th August with kickoff time at 7.30pm.

If you are travelling to the game from Dublin city centre, here is some information on how to get to the Aviva stadium by public transport.

Buses

Dublin Bus services travelling to the Aviva Stadium include routes 4, 7 and 7a. These buses depart from O’Connell Bridge and take you to the Northumberland Road stop for the Aviva Stadium.

The bus journey from the city centre to Northumberland Road takes around 20 minutes.

Dublin Bus will be providing an enhanced service for the above routes to bring patrons to the game on 26th August 2023.

Other Dublin Bus options for getting to the Aviva Stadium include the 18, 38, 38a, 47, C1 and C2 routes depending on where you are travelling from.

Trains

To get to the Aviva Stadium from Dublin city centre by train, take the DART train southbound from Connolly station, Tara Street station or Pearse station and get off the train at Lansdowne Road station. Lansdowne Road train station is located just outside the Aviva Stadium.

The DART train route serves the full Dublin coast from Malahide or Howth in the north, via the city centre to Bray and Greystones in county Wicklow in the south.

Trams

There is no direct route by Luas tram to the Aviva Stadium. However, you can take the Luas (Red Line) to connect with the DART train at Connolly Station and take a Southbound DART train 4 stops to get to Lansdowne Road station.
