New Dublin Bus routes launched
The National Transport Authority in conjunction with Dublin Bus have launched the first phase of the new “BusConnects” network in Dublin.
The BusConnects project aims to provide more frequent services along new dedicated bus corridors.
Phase one, which launched on 27 June, includes routes connecting Dublin’s northeast to the city centre, covering the areas of:
Howth
Baldoyle
Donaghmede
Raheny
Malahide
Portmarnock
Howth
The routes commenced service on Sunday 27 June, replacing the 29a, 32, 31, 31a and 31b.
The 29a has been replaced by the H1 (Baldoyle-Donaghmede-City Centre)
The 32 has been replaced by the H2 (Malahide-Bayside-City Centre)
The 31/31a/31b routes are replaced by the H3 (Howth-Bayside-City Centre) and the 6 (Howth-Strand Road-Watermill Road-City Centre).
