Luas Red and Green Line changes on Sunday 30 March 2025 for Dublin Half Marathon

Due to the Dublin City Council Half Marathon taking place on Sunday, 30 March 2025, there will be temporary service changes on both the Luas Red and Green Lines. These changes will help facilitate the event and ensure safety along the route.

Here’s what you need to know:

Green Line – Service Changes

Between 7:00 and 9:30 AM

  • No trams running between St. Stephen’s Green and Dominick.

  • Trams will still run on either side of the closure:

    • Brides Glen / Sandyford ↔ St. Stephen’s Green

    • Broombridge ↔ Dominick

From 10:00 AM

  • Full service resumes as normal on the Green Line.

Red Line – Service Changes

Between 7:00 and 9:30 AM

  • No trams between Smithfield and The Point / Connolly.

  • Trams will run only from Tallaght / Saggart to Smithfield.

Between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM

  • No service between George’s Dock and The Point.

  • Trams will run from Tallaght / Saggart to Connolly.

From 2:15 PM

  • Full Red Line service resumes.
